* Applies to legitimate, recognized registered agent services whose published terms commit them to nothing. It does not apply to offers that promise to staff an office during business hours, forward service of process the day it arrives, keep the appointment in force from year to year, or stand behind any of it. The comparison is to our own price, which we will beat by any amount we choose, including zero. We decide in good faith whether an offer qualifies. To date none has.

Prices from each outfit's own page. The ones with a person cost what a person costs. The rock costs thirty-two, and we have confessed it.
Other tithes to withhold
Thirty-two dollars is a sermon on value. Preach it to the rest of the budget.
Withhold the annual report as an act of conscience
In Wyoming, the annual report is $60 a year for an LLC or a corporation. That is money you could be saving by not filing it. Render that unto no one. The state will send a letter. Letters are not lightning.
Skip the climbing permit
The tower did not ask for one. Neither should you. The rangers may differ, and they have jurisdiction.
Let the roof leak in faith
A new roof is a covenant with a contractor. A bucket is cheaper and more honest about what it can do.
Cancel the insurance on things that will not burn
Rock does not burn. Neither does an empty office. Insure only what you would miss, and then reconsider.
Give up on the sign lighting
The tower is visible for thirty miles with no light on it. Your sign has less to say and no need to say it after dark.
Keep more of it. Render less.
If cost is what you are watching, ask what the yearly check to the state buys. We asked what a rock buys and found the answer humbling, and then we charged for it anyway.
The state's answer is to strike the company off the books, and coming back costs a fee even we would call ungodly. The statute and the fee are on the Wyoming page, in the state's own words.
The Wyoming pageOne state. One tower. One price, and it is ungodly.
Wyoming has a statute about registered agents and a rule for the ones that cannot be found under the rock. Both are on the Wyoming page, the only state page we keep, because the tower is in one state and casts its shadow no further.
