The tower has stood over this corner of the state since before anyone was around to charge for it. These are the places within its gaze, and a few beyond, photographed by the faithful.
Devils Tower
Twelve hundred feet of stone that rose out of the ground and stayed. It asks nothing. We ask thirty-two dollars. One of us has the moral high ground and it is the rock.
